Ronald J. Lanouette, Jr. Esq. is a managing member of the firm of Lanouette Law Offices, P.L.L.C.
He currently has a general practice representing clients in the areas of business, family, criminal, litigation, estates and trusts and real estate.

Before opening his own practice, he worked of local large firm in their Corporate/Banking Law Department and Worker’s Compensation Department. Afterward he went to work for small firm in Endicott New York where he represented individuals and small business with all of their legal needs. He enjoyed this individual practice so much he opened his own office in Binghamton NY.

After growing up in Lawrence, Massachusetts, a small industrial town like Binghamton, he went to college on scholarship at Goucher College in Maryland and then onto law school at Pace University School of Law in Westchester County, New York. After graduating from law school, he worked for a Fortune 100 insurance company managing litigation and insurance claims for national and international insurance in New York City until moving to Boston, Massachusetts to be closer to family and to get a Master degree at the BU at Boston University School of Law. After graduating with his degree, he moved to Binghamton, New York to be marry his now wife and start a family.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, wondering what his toddler is saying and what his two large dogs think about as they continually eat his dress shoes.

Professional and Community Experience:

He was admitted to practice law in New York in 2003 and then admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York in 2003, Western District of New York in 2014, Eastern District of New York in 2013.
He received his BA from Goucher College in 1996 with the honor of receiving the Rhoda M. Dorsey Scholarship for History and his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law in 1999 during which he received the Pace International Law Director’s Award. He was also a Finalist Pace Unified Trial Competition, a Member of the National Trial Competition Team, a Member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America Advocacy Team; Co-Chair of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Team, a member of the Gray's Inn Moot Court Team. Later he graduated a Master in Laws or a LLM from Boston University School of Law in 2003.

He is Co Chair of the Small Firm/ Solo Lawyer Committee of the Broome County Bar Association, a Delegate from the Broome County Bar Association to the New Yoirk State Bar Association House of Delegates, a member of the NYSBA Association Sections on Family, Criminal and General Practice. He has previously served as an International Youth Exchange Officer for the Vestal Rotary and routinely hosts exchange high school Students from around the world. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society of Mid New York, Inc. the Southern Tier Youth Sports Network and continues to and is the
Co-Chair the New York State Bar Association High School Student Mock Trial Competition, for the Broome County Region, New York
